Biographical History

The Solid Muldoon newspaper (named after the 'prehistoric man' hoax in Beulah, Colorado, in 1877) was founded in Ouray, Colorado, in 1879 by David F. Day. The Great Divide was a periodical published in Denver from 1889 to 1896.
