The Women's Club of Auburn, Ala., grew out of the Clover Club of Auburn in 1920. Edith Royster Judd was its primary founder. The Women's Club is a social organization. It provides scholarships to Auburn University Students and maintains the old General James H. Lane residence as its clubhouse. A student lives there rent free in exchange for maintanence.
