Biographical History

Batya Goldman is the creator of the Chicago zine, U-Direct, and she initiated the first Underground Press Conference in 1994. Goldman was very involved in the zine world and ran her own small-press, Mary Kuntz Press, which released zines such as Pseudo Cop, Sunset at Oval Beach, and Wet Male.
