Rabbi Julious Hillel Greenstone was born in Mariampole, Lithuania in 1873. He graduated from the Jewish Theological Seminary and City College of NY and later served as a lecturer at the Mikveh Israel Congregation in Philadelphia and as a teacher at Gratz College, also in Philadelphia.
