Biographical History
Madison's March composed 1809. Mrs. Madison's Minuet composed 1796. The date for Madison's March coincides with the inauguration of James Madison, 4th President of the U.S. (1809-1817). Transcription from an early published edition for piano.--Cf. Fleisher Collection.
