Biographical History
Stefan Osusky (1888- ) was born in Slovakia and came to the United States after completing elementary school. He received a law degree from the University of Chicago. During World War I he worked for creation of an independent Czechoslovak state. Following the War, he served in the diplomatic service of Great Britain and Switzerland, and from 1931-1938 was the Czech ambassador to France. After Munich, he joined the Benes government in London.
