Biographical History

David Miller (1908-1977) was a lawyer from the Bronx, New York, and a volunteer in the Abraham Lincoln Brigade during the Spanish Civil War. In the course of the war he conducted radio broadcasts from Albacete and Madrid for the Voice of Spain. While in Spain he trained at Madrigueras and Tarazona. Miller served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He later worked for the Veterans Administration in Cleveland, taught at Kent State University, and wrote articles published in the Cleveland Jewish News.
