Biographical History
Author and illustrator. Floyd Cooper attended the University of Oklahoma (B.F.A.) and has worked in advertising and for a greeting card company in Missouri prior to becoming a freelance illustrator (1984- to the present). He has received several awards, including the Notable Books selection, Parent's Choice Award, and the Coretta Scott King Honor citation for Illustration.
