Biographical History
G.S. Coppin (1819-1906), actor and politician, came to Australia in 1843 and was active in theatrical management until 1882 and in Victorian politics (as MLC & MLA) until the 1890s.
Edward Daniel Alexander Bagot, 1893-1968 organised the first motor transport service between Adelaide and Darwin; was a member of the South Australian Legislative Council, 1938-1941; founded the Citizens' League of South Australia in 1930 and was the biographer of G. Selth Coppin.
Founder and General Secretary of the Citizens' League of South Australia.
