Biographical History
Cyrus Hamlin was a Congregational clergyman and missionary to Turkey for the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. He was founder and president of Robert College, Constantinople (1860-1877). George Washburn was a Congregational clergyman, missionary to Turkey, professor, and president of Robert College (1878-1903). He was married to Henrietta Hamlin, daughter of Cyrus Hamlin.
