Biographical History

John B. Cobb, Jr. (1925- ) is an American United Methodist theologian known for his work in the development of process theology and in integrating Alfred North Whitehead's metaphysics into Christianity, and for his interest in social justice. He taught for more than thirty years in the Claremont School of Theology at Claremont College.
