Biographical History

Botanical expedition to China funded by Academia Siniica. Five American botanists, Bruce Bartholomew, David E. Boufford, Theodore R. Dudley, James L. Luteyn and Stephen A. Spongberg, participated during August to November, 1980. The expedition collected 2085 numbers, of which 1715 were vascular plants. Sets were deposited at the Wuhan Institute of Botany and Arnold Arboretum.
