Biographical History

Clinton (1909-1985) was an orchestra leader, composer and arranger who worked for many of the big bands of the 1930s and started his own band in 1938. After serving in the Air Force during World War II, he again had his own band and was a recording executive and music publisher. Clinton's biggest hit was "The Dipsy Doodle" (1937).
