Biographical History

Mendon, Mass., clergyman.

Born in Boston and educated at Harvard, Rawson served as pastor at Mendon from 1680 until his death in 1715. An accomplished scholar and writer, he preached to the Indians in their own language and published "The Confession of Faith" in English and an Indian dialect.
