Biographical History

Suzanne Amelie Wunder, journalist and writer, was born in Boston in 1889 to immigrant parents. After graduation from Radcliffe (1913), she held various personnel positions and directed the Publicity Office at Radcliffe College (1937-1938). She wrote for the New York Times and the Christian Science Monitor during the Second World War and later worked with refugees. She left uncompleted a biography of Nadia Boulanger and her autobiography at the time of her death in 1946.
