Clergy. Graduate, Princeton, 1751. Congregational minister, Greenland, N.H.
Samuel Macclintock, was ordained pastor of Congregational church at Greenland, N.H. (1756). During the French and Indian War he volunteered to officiate as a chaplain in John Goffe's New Hampshire regiment of provincials. During the Revolutionary War, he was a chaplain in the New Hampshire troops (1775). Author of a number of published sermons, including An Oration Commemorative of Washington (1800).
