Biographical History

Alpheus G. Fuller, hotel proprietor, was born in Scotland, Conn. in 1822.

After moving to St. Paul, Minn. in 1850, Fuller built and owned a hotel in that city. In 1857 he joined in the founding of the first white settlement near Sioux Falls, S.D. Fuller remained in eastern South Dakota for the next three decades. He died in Connecticut in 1900.
