In 1894, they became the first family to cross the Chilkoot Pass to the Yukon where they prospected at Forty-Mile. They moved to Circle City, Alaska in 1895 and built Snow's Opera House in Circle City, Alaska. George Snow was a founder of the Yukon Order of Pioneers (Y.O.O.P.). Anna organized the Ladies of the Golden North. Around 1910, George and Anna returned to Seattle where they lived until George's death, August 25, 1925. Anna returned to Juneau where she lived until November 13, 1943. Crystal Snow married Juneau dentist, Dr. Charles P. Jenne, and had three children: Corrinne, Phyllis and Charles. Crystal served twice in the Alaska Territorial Legislature and as Juneau's postmistress at age 60, turning down a third term in the Legislature. Crystal's daughter, Corrinne, served as Juneau's Assistant Postmistress. Crystal died June 5, 1968 in the Sitka Pioneer Home.
