Maclean, Douglas James Hargreave (b1927 : Electrical Engineering graduate : University of Glasgow, Scotland)

Douglas James Hargreave Maclean was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1927. Maclean began studying at the University of Glasgow in 1948, taking Mathematics, Natural Philosophy, Chemistry and Engineering Drawing during his first year. In his second year he studied Mathematics, Applied Mechanics, HT Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Engineering Drawing. In his third year he studied Higher Natural Philosophy, Electrical Engineering, HT Engineering, Applied Mechanics and Design Industrial Psychology. He graduated BSc in Electrical Engineering in 1952 and went on to a career as an electrical engineer.
