Biographical History
Thomas Green (1769-1825) was a writer. His most well-known work is Diary of a Lover of Literature, first published in 1810, though his friend John Mitford of Benhall also printed additional portions of it between 1834 and 1843 in the Gentleman's Magazine. Green also published pamphlets on such diverse subjects as the Aeneid, political justice, and art. He died at Ipswich on 6 January 1825.
