Fiddle player. Born 1933. Fiddle style marked by his use of double and triple stops. Member of Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys, 1950s. Played on several of Monroe's most popular instrumental recordings, including "Wheel Hoss," "Roanoke," and "Cheyenne." Original member of the Ricky Skaggs band, Kentucky Thunder.
