Biographical History

American Myra Snow, originally from Los Angeles, became a Methodist missionary in the late 1920s, and began teaching at Keen School in Tientsin (Tianjin), northern China, in 1928. Along with other American missionaries she was interned by the Japanese in 1941 as a prisoner of war. She was repatriated to the United States in 1943.
