Biographical History

Earl W. Fleet (1900- 1981) was a pilot for Transcontinental Air Transport (TAT) and its successor TWA. He trained at Kelly Field (Texas) in 1923 and was a barnstormer and Connecticut National Guard pilot. In September 1927 he competed in the New York-Spokane Air Derby. He joined TAT in 1929. During World War II he flew with the Air Transport Command, afterwards returning to TWA. He retired in 1960.
