Biographical History

Sergeant (SGT) Thomas Vincent enlisted in the 22nd Michigan Volunteers (Infantry) at Milford, Oakland County, MI on 13 August 1862 for three years service. He was assigned to Company I, and served in Kentucky and Tennessee. From 23 January 1863 to April 1863, he was detached to the 18th Ohio Light Artillery Battery as a bugler. On 19 September 1863, he was captured at Chicamauga and was confined as a prisoner of war in Richmond, VA. Vincent died of small pox on 8 January 1864.
