The House of Representatives for Kentucky meets in Frankfort, Ky.
The second session of the First Assembly of the State of Kentucky House of Representatives met from November 5, 1792-December 22, 1792 in Lexington, Kentucky. The first session of the Third General Assembly of the State of Kentucky House of Representatives met from November 3, 1794-December 20, 1794 in Frankfort, Kentucky. Robert Breckinridge was unanimously voted Speaker of the House. The sixth session of the State of Kentucky House of Representatives met from November 7, 1796-December 19, 1796 in Frankfort, Kentucky. Thomas Todd was appointed Clerk; Edmond Bullock was unanimously elected Speaker of the House; Nicholas Lewis was appointed Sergeant at Arms; and Roger Divine was appointed as Door keeper to the House. The second session of the Sixth General Assembly of the State of Kentucky House of Representatives met from February 6, 1797-March 1, 1797 in Frankfort, Kentucky. Items of business included a proposal for moving the records of original papers from the Register Office of Virginia to that of Kentucky and the resignation of James Poage of the House.
In 1849-1850, the Third Constitutional Convention of the State of Kentucky met to amend the state constitution. A fourth Constitutional Convention was held in 1890-1891 to again amend Kentucky's state constitution.
