The National Reclamation Association was organized in 1932 to represent interests of the seventeen western reclamation states. The association has worked with the Bureau of Reclamation in passing authorization for the Colorado River Storage Project, the Columbia River Basin development, and the Central Arizona Project, among others.
The Association represented interests of western states by working with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation on water projects.
