Orlando Humason (1828-1875), was a member of the legislature and was responsible for the bill creating Wasco and Multnomah counties.

He arrived in Salem, Oregon in 1851. He was a farmer and lawyer. He was a businessman who also owned freight lines to interior and Eastern Oregon mines. When he was a young man he was a captain during the Indian wars of 1856.
