Charles Richardson was commander of HMS Semiramis on the British Naval Voyage of 1813. He visited Tristan da Cunha to search for French vessels, where he met Tomaso Corri (Thomas Currie), the islands only inhabitant. The vessel then landed on Inaccessible Island.
