Biographical History

Joseph Siracusa was born in the USA in 1944. He studied at the University of Denver and the University of Vienna and received a PhD from the University of Colorado. Currently, Siracusa is a Reader in History at the University of Queensland. He has lectured in both Australia and the USA. Siracusa is known for his research on United States foreign policy, American politics and Australian-American security relations. He has also written a book about Sallyanne Atkinson, the former Lord Mayor of Brisbane.
