Musician. Played cornet in the Texas Technological College Band from 1936-1942, under D. O. Wiley. Elected to a music honorary, Kappa Kappa Psi, 1938.

Edgar Turner (no. 20278), commonly known as Jack Turner, served as a driver with the 7th Field Artillery Brigade. He was awarded the Military Medal and Bar. "Jack" Turner also served in the 2nd A.I.F. in World War II.
