Gamma Sigma Delta. Iowa Beta Chapter.

The Iowa Beta Chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta (Honor Society of Agriculture), was chartered in 1913. The objective of the society is to encourage a high degree of excellence in the practice of agricultural pursuits and high standards of scholarship. The membership in the chapter consists of those members of the National Society who may affiliate with the local chapter, and those who are elected into the Society by the chapter. Elected members include students, faculty, and alumni. Seniors may be chosen from the College of Agriculture, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Dept. of Landscape Architecture.
