Biographical History

Sender Garlin (1902-1999), was an author and journalist, who wrote for the Socialist Party newspaper, Appeal to Reason, the Communist Party's Western Worker, helped form the John Reed Club in the early 1930s and was a founding editor of the Partisan Review before he moved on to write for the New Masses .
