The company was incorporated in Michigan on March 12, 1917. Merged into The Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company on June 6, 1947.
The P.M. serviced an area that strectches from Buffalo to Chicago.
Nothing is known about Ryan. The Railway was incorporated on Sept. 20, 1899 for $150,000 in Detroit, to own 33 miles of rail from Pentwater to Mannistee (Mich.). It bought, controlled, amended, and leased other railroads until it merged into the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad on Feb. 19, 1946, effective April 1, 1947.
