Biographical History

Transportation executive, Sadowsky, a Russian-Jewish immigrant to N.Y.C., worked at Acme Fast Freight, (1917-1966) in several capacities, including advertising director. She was a founder of the American Society of Traffic and Transportation (1950) and the Women's Traffic Club of New York (president, 1936-1937), and has been active in other traffic organizations.
