Biographical History

George B. Bookman (b. 1914) was the Associate Editor of U.S. News and World Report in Washington, D.C., from 1938 to 1940, and then a White House reporter for the Washington Post from 1940 to 1941. Bookman was responsible for editing the memoirs of Gabriel Hauge (Research Director, Citizens for Eisenhower).
