Billups, Fred H. (Frederick Harding), 1938-

Fred H. "Bud" Billups, Jr. was born in 1938 in Richmond, Virginia. His father worked for Standard Oil of New Jersey and his family moved a great deal, including several years in Cuba. He graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia and from the University of Virginia. Billups married in 1962 and had one son and one daughter. After service in the navy and work with Exxon, he joined the Glenmede Trust Company in 1976 as manager of the charitable trust department, resigning in 1988. Billups is an Episcopalian.
