Biographical History

Charles and Frank Wolcott were partners in the Monarch Consolidated Gold and Copper Mining and Smelting Company. Their business interests extended to the establishment of a sawmill and a box factory. They also built a spur railroad line from their box factory to the Moffat railroad; it was called the Rocky Mountain Railroad Company.

Horace A. and Louisa P. Bixby Wolcott were the parents of Edward C., Charles A., and Frank H. Wolcott, pioneer settlers in Boulder County, Colo. After the death of Horace, Louisa married Judge Peter Housel.

From the description of Evelyn Wolcott papers 1876-1922. (Boulder Public Library). WorldCat record id: 427309570
