Biographical History

When the first emperor of China, Qin shi huang, conquered and unified China circa 221 B.C.E., he paid a tribute to the holy mountain, Tai Shan in Shandong Sheng, and had a stone monument erected on top of the mountain to commemorate his great accomplishment. The text was written by his prime minister, the creator of the small seal script.
