Maurice Rose (b. Nov. 26, 1899, Middletown, Connecticut-d. March 30, 1945, near Paderborn, Germany) was a United States Army veteran of World War I and Major General during World War II. He commanded the Third Armored Division in Germany, riding in his jeep at the front of a column.
