Biographical History

Poet. Born in Victoria, graduate of Harvard University, in 1928 appointed Professor of English at the University of Oregon. In 1939 he was lecturing on exchange at Teachers' College, Sydney.

Poet and novelist. Born in Murtoa, Victoria, Moll moved to the United States in 1920, graduating from Lawrence College & Harvard University. Professor of English at the University of Oregon from 1928 to 1966. "Cut from mulga" (1940) was chosen by the Commonwealth Literary Committee as 1940 best book of the year.
