Biographical History

Morris A. Wessel graduated from Johns Hopkins University and received a M.D. from Yale University in 1943. He became a pediatrician in New Haven and associate clinical professor of pediatrics in the Yale Medical School. He has written widely on the impact of death and dying on children and was involved in the founding of the first hospice in the United States.
