Biographical History

Born in Rockhampton, Bill Morrow was an Australian Railways Union organiser for many years. He was also a member of the ALP, and Senator for Tasmania 1946-1953. He worked in the peace movement, and in 1961 was awarded the Lenin Peace Prize for his contribution to the World Peace Council.
