Biographical History

Joseph Watson Young was the son of Brigham Young's brother Lorenzo Dow Young. In 1864 he assisted William C. Staines, the Mormon Church's emigration agent in Wyoming, Nebraska Territory, outfit parties from the East for their journey across the Plains.
