Biographical History

Robert Andelson was born on February 19, 1931 in Los Angeles, California. Andelson received a Ph.D. in religion and social philosophy from the University of Southern California in 1960. Andelson was an ordained minister in the Congregational Christian Church, and worked as a professor for a number of universities, most notably as a professor of philosophy at Auburn University. Andelson was a believer in classical liberalism and the economic and political philosophies of Henry George, and as a result he wrote and spoke extensively on Henry George and the Georgist movement. Andelson passed away in 2002.
