Edward Shenton was an illustrator, author, editor and educator. In addition to his work as editor and vice-president of Macrae Smith Co., he was head of the Illustration Department of Moore College of Art and an instructor in illustration at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
Edward Shenton was born November 29, 1895, in Pottstown, PA, and died June 17, 1977, in Augusta, ME. He followed a career as illustrator, author, editor, and educator. Biographical Source: Something About the Author, vol. 45.
