Attorney, historian, and writer, of Dearborn. Mich.; d. 1942.

Banker and local historian of Dearborn, Mich.

Born in Dearborn, Michigan, March 13, 1854, son of Richard and Lucy Billings (Allyn) Haigh. Received B.S. degree at Michigan Agricultural College in 1874, graduated from law school at University of Michigan in 1878. He practiced Law in Detroit and was associated with electric railway companies, banking and other business enterprises. He was active in the Republican party and served as presidential elector and delegate-at large to the Convention in 1892 and 1896. He was married to Caroline Comstock in 1895 and had sons Andrew and Richard. He died May 15, 1942. (From Mich. Hist., v. 26, p. 402-404 ; Burton. City of Detroit, v. 4, p. 178) (blue index cards)
