Religious poetry and prose by Leonora Ramirez Montalvo, of noble Spanish descent, who was born in Genoa, 6 July 1602, and lived and died in Florence where she founded two religious houses: Umile ancille della Santissima Trinitá for girls, housed in the Villa La Quiete, and Ancille della S.s. Vergine dell'Incarnazione.
