Cornelius Vanderbilt, Jr., 1898-1974. Born New York. Author, lecturer, cinematographer. Involved with many newspapers and magazines as editor and publisher. In intelligence during World War II, decorated with Croix de la Croix Rouge by the French, Distinguished Service from FBI. Author of "Symposium of Public Opinion on Japanese American Question," 1921, and numerous books including My Fabulous Mother, Farewell to Fifth Avenue, and Vagabonding through Europe Today.
Will Owen Jones, 1862-1928, born Berlin, Wisconsin. Editor of the State Journal, Lincoln, Nebraska, from 1892. Instructor in journalism at University of Nebraska, Lincoln, 1893-1898.
