Author, Poet.

Edwin Carlile Litsey worked for more than seventy years as a banker with the Marion National Bank of Lebanon, Kentucky. As an avocation he wrote poetry, short stories and novels. A prolific writer, Litsey was chosen by the state legislature as Poet Laureate of Central Kentucky in 1954. Author Jesse Stuart was selected Poet Laureate of Eastern Kentucky that same year.
