Biographical History

Born in Dalby, Queensland: won sesquicentenary short story prize in 1938 and was awarded a Commonwealth Literary Fellowship in 1953. Her published works include: "Now that we're laughing" (1945), "Sun on the hills" (1946), "What else is there" (1946), "Daddy" (1946) and "Morning in Queensland" (1958).
